More than 60 people braved the rain and sleet on January 21st to attend our first-ever Friends of the Museum “Let’s Light Up Young Minds!” reception to celebrate the opening of our new “Lights, Lasers, & Lenses” exhibit. Visitors enjoyed delicious food in our Back Gallery decorated with candles, flowers, lights, and chocolate. Over 15 local businesses donated food or decorations, and Nest Realty and Beer Run provided beverages. Thank you also to Festive Fare for providing us with glasses. Please see our newsletter’s back page for a complete listing, and thank you to these businesses as well as our Friends of the Museum committee for their support of Museum programs. A fun time was had by all. Our next “friend-raiser” will be Sunday, May 16th. Mark your calendar!
